Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Kraków seeks an Intra Group Reconciliation & Reporting Specialist to ensure accurate intercompany accounting, complete month-end close, and maintain intercompany balances with integrity.

You will partner with Finance, Controlling and Shared Service teams to perform reconciliations, analyze variances, and drive process improvements while adhering to accounting policies, controls and timelines. Proficiency with SAP and Excel is preferred.

The Intra Group Reconciliation & Reporting Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely reconciliation of intercompany transactions across the organization. The role supports the month-end close process, maintains intercompany account integrity, performs financial analyses, and collaborates with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and drive process efficiency.

The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Controlling, and Shared Service teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies, reporting requirements, and internal controls related to intercompany activities.

Your Background:

• Experience in Accounting, Finance, Shared Services, or Intercompany Accounting.
• Experience with month-end close activities and account reconciliations.
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines and strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global environment.
