Job summary

Arista Networks in Poland is offering an Internship/Graduate Engineer position on the Platform team. You choose a team, receive a dedicated mentor, and participate in the Arista Prep course (2 days a week for 6 weeks) and Arista U weekly lectures.

Twice-yearly hack-a-thons may be held, with a potential full-time offer after studies. Working alongside hardware and software, you’ll write Linux user space and kernel code, work with SPI/PCIe interfaces, and develop Go and Python services to automate

Qualifications

• C/C++ programming aptitude and love for coding.
• Experience with Linux embedded systems is a plus.
• Interest in networking and high-performance software.

Responsibilities

• Write Linux user space and kernel code for 32-bit drivers DMA to 64-bit memory.
• Access ASIC registers over SPI, SMBus, PCIe and I2C for timers and stats.
• Develop Go and Python services to support NETCONF/RESTCONF over gRPC with common dev tools.
• Develop routing protocol agents (BGP/OSPF/ISIS) in C/C++ in a Linux embedded env.
• Support automated test harness with Python and many devices in test.
