Job summary

Altum Consulting is recruiting an Intercompany Accountant for a fast-paced, international tech environment in Central Warsaw. The interim role lasts 3-6 months and requires immediate availability.

You will focus on intercompany processes, reconciliations, and timely group reporting across entities. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in intercompany accounting, strong month-end knowledge, and experience with ERP systems like SAP/Oracle/NetSuite.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Intercompany accounting.
• Experience with intercompany reconciliations.
• Experience across multiple legal entities and/or countries.
• Strong understanding of month-end close processes.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience in international business, SSC or fast-growing organisations.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or MS Dynamics 365.
• Strong communication across countries.

Responsibilities

Salary: PLN 12,000-16,000 gross per month, depending on experience

Altum Consulting is partnering with a fast-growing international technology business that is expanding its finance function in Poland. We are specifically looking for candidates who can commit to a full-time interim assignment and are available to start at short notice.

We are looking for experienced Intercompany Accountants for an initial 3-6 month assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for finance professionals who are immediately available and enjoy working in a fast-paced, international technology environment.

The roles will have a strong focus on Intercompany accounting, supporting the month-end close and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across the group's international entities.

Role:

• Manage Intercompany accounting activities across multiple entities.
• Perform regular intercompany reconciliations and investigate differences between group entities.
• Manage intercompany invoices, recharges, settlements and related accounting entries.
• Identify and resolve intercompany mismatches in a timely manner.
• Support the month-end and year-end close process.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate unusual or aged balances.
• Support intercompany confirmations and ensure balances are accurately reflected across entities.
• Provide support during internal and external audits.
• Assist with finance process improvements and ad-hoc projects.
• Support the implementation, migration or optimisation of finance systems and processes where required.

You’ll be/have:

• 2+ years' experience within Intercompany accounting.
• Strong practical experience with intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
• Experience working across multiple legal entities and/or countries.
• Strong understanding of month-end close processes.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience working within an international business, SSC or fast-growing organisation.
• Experience with an ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across different countries.
• Fluency in English.
