Job summary

LVD is seeking an Installation and Service Engineer to install, start up and maintain our machines at customer sites, with worldwide or regional travel.

You will configure software, ensure machines operate to specification, and train customer operators. After initial training you will join the World Field Service Engineers team, traveling globally.

The role requires a technical degree, fluent English, willingness to travel up to 80%, and a proactive, precise mindset.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in mechanics, electromechanics, electronics or robotics & automation.
• Fluent communication skills in English.
• Experience in or knowledge of machine controls and software (preferred).
• Knowledge of an additional foreign language (preferred).

Job description

As an Installation and Service Engineer at LVD, your role will involve traveling worldwide or regionally to install, start up, and maintain our machines at customer sites. You will be responsible for ensuring that our machines function according to specifications and providing necessary training to customer operators.

Your responsibilities

• Installing and configuring operating software.
• Ensuring the proper functioning of machines or installations.
• Providing basic or follow-up training to customer operators.

After the complex training you will work as a part of the World Field Service Engineers team all around the world.

Skills

• Specialization in at least one technology (laser cutting, bending, punching, or software).
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, sometimes for extended periods.
• Highly analytical and result-oriented.
• Attention to accuracy and commitment to delivering quality work.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in mechanics, electromechanics, electronics or robotics & automation.
