Job summary

Persán is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Senior Specialist to lead operation, maintenance, and upgrades of electrical, water, gas, and fire‑protection systems at our facility in Poland. The role requires 5+ years in industrial maintenance, a technical university degree, and SEP certifications (G1/G2/G3).

You will supervise external contractors, coordinate service providers, analyze data, and drive cost-efficient upgrades while ensuring H&S and Building Law compliance.

Qualifications

  • University degree in a technical field (Energy/Mechanical/Automation).
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in technical facility maintenance in industrial/building environments.
  • SEP certifications: G1, G2, G3 (Operation & Supervision).
  • Experience with MV/LV electrical systems operation and maintenance.
  • Experience supervising water/sewage systems, gas-fired boiler plants, and water treatment systems.
  • Knowledge of Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (FDAS) and fire protection equipment.
  • Knowledge of Building Law, Health & Safety, and Fire Protection regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical docs, electrical schematics, and process diagrams.
  • Experience managing external contractors and coordinating service providers.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; ability to resolve tech failures.
  • Proficient with MS Office; good English communication.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise operation, maintenance, and repair of MV/LV electrical installations.
  • Ensure safe and reliable operation of transformer substations and power distribution systems.
  • Oversee building infrastructure and technical systems within the facility.
  • Manage water/sewage systems, inspections, and repairs coordination.
  • Supervise gas boiler plant operations and heating systems for efficiency and safety.
  • Oversee water treatment systems, including RO systems.
  • Monitor FDAS and fire protection equipment; ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
  • Analyze operating data and optimize utility consumption and costs.
  • Coordinate with service providers and contractors; accept completed works.
  • Prepare technical specs and participate in modernization/investment projects.
  • Ensure compliance with technical requirements and regulations.
  • Maintain technical, operational, and handover documentation.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Plan and manage maintenance budget for infrastructure.

Infrastructure Senior Specialist

We are looking for you to join our team as an Infrastructure Senior Specialist.

Scope of Responsibilities
  • Supervision of the operation, maintenance, and repair of Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical installations.
  • Ensuring the safe and reliable operation of transformer substations, electrical switchgear, and power distribution systems.
  • Oversight of building infrastructure and all technical systems within the facility.
  • Management and supervision of water and sewage systems, including performance monitoring, organization of inspections, and coordination of repairs and breakdown response.
  • Supervision of gas boiler plant operations and heating systems to ensure efficient, economical, and safe performance.
  • Responsibility for the proper operation of water treatment systems, particularly Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems.
  • Oversight of fire protection systems, including Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (FDAS), smoke extraction systems, and fire protection equipment, ensuring full technical functionality and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Organization and coordination of technical inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair activities for equipment and installations.
  • Monitoring operating parameters of technical equipment and analyzing operational data.
  • Cooperation with service providers, utility suppliers, and contractors engaged in maintenance, repair, and investment projects.
  • Supervision of work performed by external contractors and acceptance of completed works.
  • Preparation of technical specifications and participation in modernization and investment projects.
  • Verification of compliance with technical requirements, standards, and applicable legal regulations.
  • Maintenance of technical, operational, and handover documentation.
  • Participation in root cause analysis of failures and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Optimization of utility consumption and facility operating costs.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety (H&S), Fire Protection, and Building Law requirements.
  • Supporting the planning and management of the technical infrastructure maintenance budget.
Qualification Requirements
  • University degree in a technical field (preferably Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Automation & Control Engineering).
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a position related to technical facility maintenance in industrial, manufacturing, or building infrastructure environments.
  • Valid SEP certifications:
    • G1 (Operation & Supervision)
    • G2 (Operation & Supervision)
    • G3 (Operation & Supervision)
  • Practical knowledge of MV and LV electrical systems operation and maintenance.
  • Experience in supervising water and sewage systems, gas-fired boiler plants, and water treatment systems.
  • Knowledge of Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (FDAS) and fire protection equipment and installations.
  • Knowledge of Building Law, Health & Safety, and Fire Protection regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, electrical schematics, and process diagrams.
