Capgemini Polska in Katowice seeks an Infrastructure Engineer to join a dynamic IT team. You will work with Linux/Unix and Windows Server environments, applying your Linux, Windows and networking knowledge, and use your French language skills to support international colleagues.

You may act as Shift Lead on assigned shifts, coordinating daily operations, guiding colleagues, ensuring service continuity and handling escalations, while continuing to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Basic Unix/Linux commands and services knowledge.
• Windows OS troubleshooting and built-in tools.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Proficiency in French (spoken and written).
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Act as Shift Lead on assigned shifts and oversee daily operations.
• Analyze server performance and ensure system stability.
• Build and decommission virtual servers.
• Install software and apply patches.
• Investigate and resolve backup-related incidents.
• Collaborate with other technical support teams on changes.
