Job summary

360Dialog is seeking a hands-on infrastructure engineer to join our fully remote team. Work on production-grade cloud infrastructure using GCP/GKE, Terraform, ArgoCD, and related tools. The role emphasizes ownership, security, and scalable solutions across time zones.

The position is contract-based and open to candidates worldwide. Compensation ranges from €5,000 to €10,000 per month, commensurate with experience and fit for the role.

Qualifications

• Experience operating production systems with databases, queues, and stateful workloads.
• Ability to debug distributed systems and document root causes.
• Security awareness: least privilege and secrets hygiene.
• Proficient in Python, Go, or Bash for infrastructure coding.
• Fluent written English.

Responsibilities

Code Requirements

Proactive, independent ownership - Anticipate issues, verify assumptions against reality, and drive outcomes without hand-holding.

• Experience operating production systems with real stakes, including databases, queues, and stateful workloads - scaling, failover, and migrations without downtime.
• Ability to debug a distributed system you didn’t build, from symptom to verified root cause, and write it up so others can act on it.
• Security awareness as a habit - Least privilege, blast radius, and secrets hygiene.
• Ability to code for infrastructure using Python, Go, or Bash.
• Fluent written English.
• Growth mindset and hunger to learn.
• Ability to use AI assistants effectively and identify when they’re wrong.

Budget

The budget range for this role is €5.000,00/Month – €10.000,00/Month , depending on the candidate’s level of experience and fit with the position requirements.
