Qualifications

• Biegła znajomość języka polskiego i angielskiego.
• Posiadasz około 4 lat doświadczenia w podobnej roli obsługującej systemy transakcyjne.
• Znajomość Linuksa na wysokim poziomie, z biegłym użyciem linii poleceń.
• Silna znajomość relacyjnych baz danych (SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL) oraz umiejętność pisania złożonych zapytań SELECT/UPDATE.
• Doświadczenie w skryptowaniu Bash/Python.
• Podstawowa znajomość Kubernetes i nowoczesnych środowisk infrastruktury.
• Jesteś dostępny do pracy z biura klienta w Krakowie 8 dni w miesiącu i praca w godzinach 8:00–18:00, w tym jeden weekend w miesiącu.
• Doświadczenie z Docker, GCP lub w branży finansowej będzie atutem.

• Waliduj dane, prowadź dochodzenia i aktualizuj dane gdy trzeba.
• Twórz i używaj skryptów w Bash lub Pythonie do automatyzacji procesów.
• Wspieraj konteneryzowane i chmurowe środowiska, w tym Kubernetes.
• Współpracuj z zespołami wewnętrznymi i interesariuszami w celu skutecznego świadczenia usług.

About the project

As an Infrastructure Engineer (Linux & Database), you will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of business-critical transactional systems. Working across Linux environments, databases, and automation tools, you will investigate complex issues, support day-to-day operations, and help maintain secure and efficient services. In collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders, you will contribute to delivering seamless and high-quality service experience in a dynamic environment.

Your responsibilities

• Monitor, support, and maintain transactional systems to ensure their stability and performance.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system-related incidents and operational issues.
• Work with Linux environments and use command-line tools to support day-to-day operations.
• Analyze and manage data within relational databases, including creating and executing complex SQL queries.
• Perform data validation, investigation, and updates when required.
• Develop and use scripts in Bash or Python to automate and improve operational processes.
• Support containerized and cloud-based environments, including Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery and issue resolution.

Our requirements

• You are fluent in Polish and English, enabling effective communication in an international environment.
• You have approximately 4 years of experience in a similar role supporting transactional systems.
• You have strong hands-on knowledge of Linux, including confident use of the command line.
• You have strong knowledge of relational databases such as SQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL, and can write complex SELECT and UPDATE queries.
• You have experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• You have a basic understanding of Kubernetes and modern infrastructure environments.
• You are available to work from the client's office in Kraków 8 days per month and can work within a schedule of 8:00–18:00, including an average of one working weekend per month (compensated with two additional days off).
• Experience with Docker, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or within the financial services industry will be an advantage.
