Jeppesen ForeFlight seeks an InfoSec Engineer to help protect people, applications, and data. This early-career role offers mentorship from senior engineers and hands-on exposure to security operations, vulnerability management, and secure system development across the organization.

You will support security monitoring, assist with patch tracking, and help implement security tooling while learning secure coding and infrastructure practices in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in IT, software engineering, or security (internships and projects count).
• Foundational understanding of networking, operating systems, and security concepts (authentication, encryption, common attack types).
• Basic scripting ability (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Strong analytical mindset, curiosity, and eagerness to learn.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English (Polish a plus).
• Eligibility to work in Poland without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support vulnerability scanning, patch tracking, and remediation follow-up.
• Help implement and maintain security tooling (SIEM, endpoint protection, IAM, scanning tools).
• Participate in access reviews, configuration hardening, and security control checks.

About The Role

We are seeking an InfoSec Engineer to help protect our people, applications, and data. This is an early-career role for someone passionate about cybersecurity who wants to grow under the mentorship of senior engineers. • Entry-level certifications (Security+, AWS Cloud Practitioner) or active progress toward them.
• Participation in CTFs, home labs, or open-source security projects.

Typical Education & Experience

Degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or related field - or equivalent hands-on experience.
