Job summary

Revolut Ltd in Poland is seeking an Information Security Analyst (Operations) to build, manage, and operate detection and response for security events across IT systems. You will focus on understanding and preventing threats to cloud and on-prem environments while collaborating with global teams.

The role requires 3+ years in cybersecurity, knowledge of Linux/macOS/Windows, Python, and experience with SIEM tools and cloud providers.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in a cybersecurity-related role.
  • Proficient with Linux, macOS, and Windows; basic forensics.
  • Engineering experience in at least one general-purpose language, preferably Python.
  • Familiar with common security tooling and cloud providers.
  • Understanding of AI risks and related concepts for security automation.

About the role

Our Information Security team protects Revolut’s systems, data, and people. They combine technical expertise with a proactive, risk-based mindset to stay ahead of threats and keep our technology and customers secure at every step.

We’re looking for an Information Security Analyst who’ll be responsible for building, managing, and operating the detection and response capabilities of security-related events that impact IT systems. You’ll focus on understanding and proactively preventing threats to IT-based environments.

What you’ll be doing
  • Investigating and analysing security alerts to determine the nature and severity of potential threats
  • Developing detection and response procedures based on security frameworks
  • Designing and deploying security controls for cloud-native environments
  • Creating and reporting actionable metrics regarding detection and response
  • Assessing logging, monitoring infrastructure, and remediating capability gaps
  • Developing forward-thinking security policies and procedures
What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience in a cybersecurity-related role
  • Fundamental knowledge of information, cloud, and network security
  • Proficiency with Linux, macOS, and Windows operating systems, plus a basic understanding of forensics for these systems
  • Engineering experience in at least one general-purpose language, preferably Python
  • Proficiency with common security tooling, such as SIEM (ElasticSearch, Kibana), EDR, WAF, IDP, etc.
  • Experience with security investigations and using cloud infrastructure providers (Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure
  • Fundamental knowledge of AI and LLM concepts (prompt engineering, MCP, agents, skills, etc.) to leverage AI ecosystems for security automation and analysis
  • An understanding of key risks associated with AI
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with version control, security CI/CD processes, and infrastructure-as-code environments
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or related field
Compensation range
  • Poland: PLN15,300 - PLN20,000 gross monthly*
  • Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process

*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, skills, and previous experience
