An Informatica MDM Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Master Data Management (MDM) solutions using the Informatica platform. This role involves creating data models, managing data integration, performing data validation, and ensuring data quality across enterprise systems. They also collaborate with various stakeholders, including business users and data stewards, to gather requirements and ensure the MDM solution meets business needs.

What You’ll Do

• Solution Design and Development: Designing and implementing MDM solutions using Informatica MDM, including data models, workflows, and business rules.
• Data Integration: Integrating data from various source systems into the MDM hub, ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Data Modelling: Defining and implementing data models for master data entities (e.g., customers, products, suppliers) within the Informatica MDM environment.
• Data Quality Management: Implementing data quality rules, validation processes, and exception handling to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
• Match and Merge Rules: Configuring and optimizing match and merge rules within the Informatica MDM hub to identify and consolidate duplicate records.
• Collaboration: Collaborating with business users, data stewards, and other technical teams to gather requirements, resolve data issues, and ensure the MDM solution aligns with business needs.
• Performance Optimization: Optimizing the performance and scalability of the MDM solution to meet evolving business needs.

What You’ll Bring

• Informatica MDM: Strong hands-on experience with Informatica MDM, including hub configuration, data modeling, data mappings, and data validation.
• Data Management: Solid understanding of data management concepts, data quality principles, and MDM best practices.
• SQL and Databases: Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
• ETL: Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools, potentially including Informatica PowerCenter.
• Java/JEE: Knowledge of Java or JEE design patterns may be helpful.
