Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking an Industrialization Engineer to drive new product introductions in manufacturing, partnering with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to optimize product design for manufacturability. You will develop process documentation, estimate costs, and lead prototype/pilot activities, ensuring IPC‑A‑610 and soldering standards are met.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor of Science in engineering, 3+ years in manufacturing, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in electronics or related field
• Knowledge of New Product Introduction process
• Understanding of DFMA and Lean Six Sigma tools
• SAP transaction knowledge
• Proficient in English communication
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Support introduction of new products to manufacturing following CPD processes
• Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineering for manufacturability improvements
• Develop documentation, estimate manufacturing cost, and initiate prototype/pilot activities
• Handle tasks of varying scope requiring evaluation of factors
• May lead small project teams within or outside Industrialization group
• Understand PCB assembly and related constraints
• Apply design for manufacturing and for compliance in PCB assembly
• Proficient in IPC-A-610 and soldering processes
• Knowledge of coatings, underfill and manufacturing test
• Experience with high density designs, through-hole and surface mount, board stackups and pad designs
