Job summary

ABB is seeking a network professional to design, implement, and maintain WAN/LAN/WLAN infrastructure across ABB sites. The role includes IT/OT interface coordination, security device configuration, and collaboration with multiple service providers.

The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model with occasional visits to ABB factories and offices, bringing strong English communication and stakeholder skills to ensure secure, reliable networks that support industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing WAN, LAN, and WLAN networks, preferably in an industrial environment (factory/R&D/warehouse).
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model and regularly visit ABB factories and offices.
• Communicative English skills, enabling effective cooperation with international suppliers and partners.
• Category B driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain WAN, LAN, and WLAN network infrastructure across ABB locations.
• Oversee the IT/OT network interface, including security device configurations (Firewalls).
• Coordinate activities and oversee network service providers.
• Ensure network infrastructure complies with security requirements and internal standards for IT/OT environments.
• Design the architecture and develop local IT/OT networks (High-Level Design).
• Monitor and analyse key network service performance and availability indicators.
• Manage UPS devices supporting the network infrastructure.
