Job summary

AUTODOC, Europe’s leading online auto parts platform, seeks a Procurement and Purchasing Manager to lead the indirect procurement team across Europe from Szczecin. You will drive the SAP Ariba rollout, establish a robust ABC Vendor Strategy, and steer negotiations to optimize IT and logistics spend.

You will report to the VP Accounting, Reporting and Tax, manage seven colleagues, and partner with internal teams to digitalize workflows and elevate procurement performance in a fast‑growing, hybrid

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication skills in English, Polish and German (fluent both written and spoken).
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and negotiation skills.
• High level of self-responsibility, proactive problem-solving capabilities, and strategic thinking.
• Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to effectively manage change and drive digitalization.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Disciplinary and professional leadership of a 7-person indirect procurement team, fostering their continuous development and ensuring high performance.
• SAP Ariba Roll-Out: Leading the strategic planning and execution of the further SAP Ariba roll-out across the organization over the coming years.
• Vendor Development: Advancing and implementing an effective ABC Vendor Strategy, including the identification, onboarding, and management of Preferred Suppliers.
• Negotiations & Spend Management: Driving measurable improvements in contract negotiations and spend management, with a specific focus on the IT and Logistics categories.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Working closely with internal departments and acting as a trusted business partner, ensuring alignment with the overarching financial goals set by the VP Accounting, Reporting and Tax.
• Process Improvement: Identifying optimization potential and implementing more efficient, digital workflows within the purchasing and procurement area.
