Job summary

Tonik, a digital design studio, seeks an independent Motion Designer for long-term B2B cooperation. You organize your own time and work remotely within EU time zones, delivering across animation, logos and case studies, with creative freedom and client-facing responsibilities.

You’ll lead projects from concept to shipped results, collaborate with brand designers, and present ideas to clients. Fluency in English (C1) is expected, and AI-assisted tools are valued.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of animation principles and motion design.
• Excellent easing and timing across animations.
• Expertise with After Effects and Lottie; familiarity with Spline, Rive, Cavalry.
• Experience in 3D (static + animated).
• Ability to integrate animations with frontend frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Gather information and materials about projects.
• Plan the design process for projects.
• Work on storyboards and sketches with clients to save time.
• Create animations — logos, illustrations, case studies and launch videos.
• Explain ideas in an engaging, entertaining, and clear way with animation.
• Be the point of contact between Tonik and clients.
• Present and get approval for ideas.
• Educate clients on motion design.
• Update clients about progress.
• Collaborate with brand designers from the start.
• Help web designers and no-code developers implement ideas.
• Join internal project meetings and share knowledge.
