Job summary

Luxoft in Poland is seeking an experienced embedded Linux engineer to design and develop middleware components for real-time platforms. The role involves building platform libraries, optimizing IPC, and ensuring scalable system services across embedded Linux environments.

You will collaborate with firmware, cloud, and application teams to define APIs, implement logging and security features, and debug complex issues across middleware, OS, and hardware layers.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in C and C++ for embedded development.
• Strong experience with Linux internals (system services, IPC, device drivers).
• Understanding embedded system architecture and SoC hardware interaction.
• Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python) for build and testing.
• Familiarity with hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, PCIe).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop middleware components, libraries, and system services for embedded Linux.
• Optimize IPC, data flow, and resource usage to improve performance.
• Analyze and resolve system-level bottlenecks for reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with firmware, cloud, and application teams to define APIs.
• Implement and maintain platform-level logging, security, and config management.
• Debug complex issues across middleware, OS, and hardware layers.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and platform evolution guidance.
