Role Overview

The Cyber Security IAM L2 Analyst is responsible for day‑to‑day operational support of Identity and Access Management (IAM) services, focusing on User Access Management (UAM), access provisioning, recertification support, and compliance execution. This role acts as an L2 support function, handling Incidents, Service Requests, Changes, Problem Tickets and operational activities in line with defined IAM processes, security policies, and audit requirements. The L2 role escalates complex or high‑risk issues to L3 / Tech Lead/Customer/Vendor teams as required.

Support Hours : The candidate must demonstrate flexibility to support service delivery schedules.

Service time 6:00 am – 5:30 pm, Mon – Fri ( Local Time Germany)

Early Shift Hours – 6:00 pm to 3:00 pm

Late Shift hours – 8:30 – 5:30 pm

Key Responsibilities

IAM Operations & User Access Management (UAM)

• Ready to work on home grown IAM tools.
• Perform user onboarding, modification, and offboarding activities in accordance with security and client specifications
• Execute access provisioning and de‑provisioning for connected and non‑connected systems
• Monitor IAM jobs, workflows, and interfaces to ensure availability and stability
• Handle L1/L2/L3 incidents, service requests, Changes etc. using ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, ARS etc. or through Emails)
• Validate target vs. actual access reports and raise tickets for deviations where defined
• Ready for learning/Upskilling/Cross-skilling and get trained/mentored if needed & through available KT documents and self-learning.

Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Support

• Support IAM audit and compliance activities by collecting and validating required evidence
• Assist in preparation of audit populations, access reports, and verification documents
• Ensure operational activities comply with internal controls, policies, and procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation for IAM processes and controls.
• Validate recertification data, reports, and user populations before campaign execution
• Perform data quality checks and cleansing activities
• Track responses, follow‑ups, and completion status as per defined timelines
• Assist in preparation of final recertification documentation and reports

Operational & Collaboration Responsibilities

• Follow defined IAM operational procedures and SLAs
• Participate in operational review meetings and knowledge‑sharing sessions
• Work closely with L3 IAM teams, GRC stakeholders, and application owners
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring issues and process gaps and should be ready to prepare lesson Learnt Documents and share with Governance and right stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical & Functional Skills

• Experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) operations or support roles
• Good understanding of User Access Management (UAM) concepts
• Basic or Intermediate level of exposure to IAM Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) processes
• Hands‑on experience with platforms such as Windows AD, UNIX, and/or z/OS
• Experience working with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, ARS)
• Basic awareness of automation or AI concepts is an advantage
• Strong attention & attitude to detail and documentation discipline & learning.
• Ability to follow defined processes and compliance requirements
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional and multi‑vendor environments

Language Skills :

• German language skills (B2 or higher) – (mandatory)
• English language skill (Intermediate and above) (preferred)
