Job summary

PepsiCo in Poland seeks an IBP Manager to oversee the monthly iS&OP and weekly iS&OE processes, coordinating Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain. You will ensure volume forecasts across MT and ST horizons, facilitate reviews, and drive consistency and monetization of the demand plan.

The role requires 6+ years in cross-functional FMCG environments, strong English and Polish, and a proven ability to manage complex scenarios and stakeholder expectations.

Overview

The vision is to improve decision making process synchronized across the enterprise through one aligned volume forecast that is automated with human intervention when needed, and fueled by next-gen talent, analytics and technologies.


The ultimate goal of the IBP program is to capture the value coming from better volume demand planning in Poland, supporting the profitable growth agenda, putting business improvements in the heart of this process


The IBP Manager oversees the IBP Process execution on a monthly (iS&OP) / weekly (iS&OE) basis and organizes the relevant reviews. He/she is the first liaison person with key functions - Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, DX, NRM - effectively coordinating all IS&OP and IS&OE forums, registering R&O and supervisioning the different scenarios being generated by Demand Planning and Supply Planning teams.


Also, ensures overall Volume demand forecast quality and consistency for MT and ST horizons across all output levels (MU and Channels).


Responsibilities


  • Ensure proper coordination of S&OP and S&OE forums and be the facilitator of these forums

  • Acts as a key integrator between iS&OP and iS&OE and identifies key escalations for next cycle or forum

  • Ensure overall Category demand forecast quality and consistency for MT and ST horizons across all output levels including a proper directional monetization

  • Be the first liaison person with key functions - Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, DX, NRM, Insights - and register and review the R&Os

  • Supervise the management of the Demand and Supply Scenarios

  • Collaborate with functional leads to ensure relevant updates have been made and materials created in preparation for the Reviews

  • Kick off each review forum and communicate approved plan, decisions and actions to downstream processes and functions (e.g., Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance)

  • Collaborate with functional leads to define, review and communicate plans for open issues

  • Analyze Process Performance KPIs to identify need for escalations and discussion in reviews


Qualifications


  • Experience in generating accurate Demand Planning outputs and manage DP tools and organization at fast moving consumer goods, including advanced modelling, collaborative planning, demand sensing, promotions planning, new product introduction planning, demand shaping and demand scenarios management

  • High level of credibility & business acumen is required, must be commercially savvy, with strong analytical skills. Strong understanding of the IBP processes, demand planning and forecasting

  • Mastery of category dynamics across channels

  • Ability to process and resolve complex issues, establish priorities and action plans across the value chain

  • Good executive maturity:

    • Interacting with, influencing & aligning peers and senior leaders.

    • Leadership through influencing senior colleagues from all functions but primarily, Supply chain, Sales, Marketing and Finance.

    • Managing ambiguity, working within a complex, fluid cross-functional environment managing significant amounts of change and being able to influence a broad base of cross-functional stakeholders & peers.

    • The ability to understand and provide a top-line strategic view or, where needed to back up recommendations for Leadership Team decisions, a very detailed and accurate analysis is a critical skill.

    • Ability to take a holistic business view.



  • Would typically have a strong forecast ability background with sound commercial, finance &supply chain understanding, including S&OE, S&OP and AOP experience

  • Excellence consensus building skills , confident when dealing with different profiles & LT members with more seniority and experience. Be sensitive to cultural differences, and able to deal with these

  • Hugely passionate advocate of the IBP process and its demand planning elements – ability to engage, build rapport & trusted among the IBP participants

  • Strong team player

  • Self-starter capable of managing his/her own agenda within a complex, fast paced environment.

  • Comfortable with process discipline and process adherence, but also able to identify and take opportunities to further develop and strengthen the process without compromising the end state

  • Demonstrated degree level capability

  • 6+ years of cross-functional experience at a middle to senior level within another FMCG company

  • Good English and Polish proficiency

  • Good meeting facilitation skills

  • Capacity to create consensus-based demand plan of each category through collaboration with internal functions (marketing, sales supply chain and finance) and where possible and needed, external partners (e.g., customers and suppliers)

  • Manage category forecast unconstrained and constrained (volume) demand to ensure products are available at the right place and time and financial forecasts are based on the “one demand plan” and its most accurate volume forecast

  • Identify volume gaps, risks and opportunities between the demand plan and the volume forecast vs. AOP volume targets to develop action plans & address gaps

  • IBP is a developing process within PepsiCo and, as such, focus on sustaining process is essential. This job-holder will play a critical role in ensuring successful process implementations by maintaining a positive approach, ongoing engagement and alignment with key stakeholders and supporting the IBP lead in solving issues that arise during the implementation period

Compensation and Benefits


  • The expected starting compensation range for this position is 278800,0 PLN annually.

  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary.

  • This role is eligible for an annual bonus of 15% of annual salary, based on performance and eligibility.
