Job summary

Cognizant in Kraków is seeking a Test Analyst to validate complex industrial manufacturing applications and integrations, using structured test design and execution in a hybrid model with Azure DevOps and Jira for planning, tracking and defect management.

You will execute end-to-end tests, design scenarios from business requirements, log defects, validate data across systems, support UAT, and contribute to quality improvements with limited remote work near Kraków.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of software testing experience.
• Understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies.
• Technical degree in CS/SE/Electronics or related field.
• Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps for defect tracking and test management.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end functional and regression testing for manufacturing apps.
• Design detailed test scenarios and cases from business requirements.
• Use Azure DevOps to manage test plans and work items.
• Use Jira to log defects with steps and impact notes.
• Collaborate with analysts and product owners to refine acceptance criteria.
• Perform data validation across manufacturing systems.
• Coordinate test execution in a hybrid model with onsite and remote cycles.
• Prepare test summary reports highlighting coverage and risks.
• Support user acceptance testing with business users.
• Suggest improvements to test practices and automation candidates.
