Job summary

Your ITeams Sp. z o.o. is seeking a System Architect to lead the design of a new distributed microservices system for the insurance domain. The role combines hands-on coding with architectural leadership to ensure scalable, secure, and observable systems.

The candidate will define architecture, set standards, and oversee development, deployment, and stabilization while ensuring compliance with security controls. Hybrid work from Warsaw with strong English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the insurance domain.
• At least 5 years of experience in system design and architectural oversight.
• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model from Warsaw.

Responsibilities

• Design the architecture for a new insurance-domain system and produce comprehensive technical documentation.
• Build the system within a distributed microservices architecture; perform hands-on coding as required.
• Support feasibility studies and implementation assumptions for development decisions.
• Set technical direction, maintain standards, and ensure code quality.
• Estimate development effort and resource requirements for tasks.
• Lead task assignment, oversee implementation, and review code; document technically.
• Ensure operational requirements and security controls are met in solutions.
• Provide programming support during development, deployment, and stabilization phases.
