Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. is seeking a Cost Center Controlling professional for Offshore Service to drive financial transparency and process efficiency across global functions.

You will combine controlling expertise with a digital mindset, analyzing data, mapping processes, and enabling automation and predictive forecasting. Responsibilities include budgeting, headcount reporting, and building data models and dashboards using SAP, Power BI, SQL, and Alteryx.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• First professional experience in Controlling/Finance, ideally in an international or shared service environment.
• Strong analytical and process mapping skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Experience with SAP (essential) and affinity for handling large data sets.
• Practical knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Power Query or similar modern tools is a plus.
• Business fluency in English; German/Danish is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and optimize cost center budgets, forecasts, and reports to support sound management decisions.
• Provide transparency in headcount and structural cost reporting, ensuring compliance with Siemens Energy guidelines and timely recognition of costs and revenues.
• Map, harmonize, and improve business processes in cost center controlling, ensuring scalability and efficiency across functions.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of reporting solutions (SAP, Power BI, SQL, Alteryx), including building robust data models and dashboards.
• Strengthen Master Data Governance (Cost Centers, WBS, Orders, GL Accounts) to enable consistent reporting and aligned forecasting.
• Drive automation, predictive forecasting, and digitalization initiatives in cost center controlling.
