Job summary

DCV Technologies is seeking an experienced DBA Engineer in Wroclaw to join the EQ DWH project. You will manage and support SQL Server databases, ensuring stability and performance while resolving production issues.

The role includes knowledge transfer and participation in operational support activities. Experience required ranges from 5 to 10 years, with strong hands-on SQL Server 2016+ skills and Windows Server administration.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in Database Administration.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SQL Server 2016+.
• Good knowledge of Windows Server Administration.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to participate in rota‑based support and weekend coverage when required.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Microsoft SQL Server 2016+.
• Monitor database performance, availability, backups, and recovery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database and production issues.
• Manage Windows Server environments and develop PowerShell scripts.
• Automate routine DBA tasks and maintain technical documentation.
• Perform knowledge transfer and handover activities.
• Participate in the support rota, including weekends when required.
