Job summary

Nord Security is seeking a skilled Low-Level Engineer to design and develop high-quality Rust code for multiple platforms. You will tackle security, performance, and networking challenges at scale while collaborating with the Low-Level Team to deliver secure software solutions.

Strong candidates will have deep OS and networking knowledge, plus experience with GitHub, GitLab and CI/CD. Mentoring others and contributing to open-source are valued attributes.

Qualifications

• Desire to learn and improve; focused on results.
• Ability to self-drive software development and ownership.
• Solid software engineering knowledge in at least one strongly typed language (Rust/C/C++ preferred).
• Deep understanding of networking protocols: UDP, TCP, IP v4/v6, DNS.
• Experience with GitHub or GitLab and CI/CD fundamentals.
• Willing to mentor others and share knowledge.
• Knowledge of virtualization or containers.
