Job summary

Nord Security's NordLayer team is seeking a software engineering leader to own the design, development, deployment and operations of platform features. You will mentor an 8–10 person squad, drive sprint planning, and coordinate across cross-functional teams to deliver milestones.

You will engage with stakeholders, promote best practices in the full SDLC, and help shape hiring and onboarding processes while fostering a high-velocity, collaborative engineering culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years leading a software engineering team.
• Solid software development background with interest in networking.

Responsibilities

• Own design, development, deployment and operations of squad features.
• Set direction, remove roadblocks and enable the team to succeed.
• Lead and grow an Engineering squad of 8–10 specialists with mentorship.
• Lead sprint planning and track squad velocity to hit milestones.
• Develop and execute plans using agile methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional squads and stakeholders.
• Participate in talent hiring and employee lifecycle processes.
