Job summary

thyssenkrupp Automotive Body Solutions is seeking an experienced procurement professional to bridge procurement and project management. You will oversee purchasing for multiple projects in series production or project-based work, and participate in customer offers, project reviews, and cross-site coordination.

You will finalize contracts with suppliers, ensure N5 process compliance, work with the commodity buyer on strategy, and help optimize budgets, costs, time and quality across projects.

Qualifications

• University degree in industrial or mechanical engineering.
• Extensive procurement experience, ideally in automotive.
• Fluent in German and English; strong presentation skills.
• Analytical, structured, independent work style with assertiveness.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Represent the connection between procurement and project management.
• Take on purchasing responsibility for multiple projects in series or project-based business.
• Participate in customer offers and project reviews with the purchasing team and international sites.
• Finalize project-related contracts with suppliers and ensure N5 process compliance.
• Collaborate with the commodity buyer to align with strategy and manage budgets.
• Ensure costs, time and quality are managed and optimized per project needs.
• Coordinate material requirements and clarify quality specs for quotations.
