EPAM is seeking a Payments Architect in Poland to lead architecture for large-scale payments and digital banking initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance and innovation.

You will design target state architectures, create high-level designs, and guide development teams across multiple streams in an agile/hybrid delivery model.

This role offers exposure to PSD2, GDPR, omni-channel modernization, and opportunities to work remotely within Poland.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Solution/Payments Architect on large digital banking programs.
• Strong banking architecture design across payment systems and channels.
• Expertise in REST API, microservices, SOA, and eventing tech.
• Knowledge of batch integration patterns.
• Experience guiding architecture decisions across complex programs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment.
• Fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct As-Is architecture assessments and produce Target State Architecture definitions for payment and digital banking initiatives
• Create high-level design documentation and provide architectural guidance for development teams across multiple workstreams
• Design solutions leveraging REST API development, microservices-based architecture, SOA, event-driven integration and batch processing
• Manage architectural decision tracking and ensure alignment with enterprise and regulatory standards
• Present solution options, negotiate trade-offs and secure agreement with business and technology stakeholders
• Ensure architectural deliverables support both regulatory requirements and commercial objectives
• Oversee the application of EPAM's best practices and reusable components in solution architecture
• Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile or hybrid delivery model
