Job summary

ABB in Poland (Bielsko-Biała) seeks an experienced Purchasing and Supply Chain professional to lead supplier development for the LVS business. You will build a local supplier base, run strategic purchasing activities and drive cost, quality and delivery improvements.

You will collaborate with project management, engineering, logistics and global sourcing teams; travel frequently and work in a hybrid model. Fluency in Polish and English is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP in sourcing or purchasing processes.
• Fluent in Polish and English.
• Experience in supplier development.
• Analytical, proactive and independent.
• Willingness to travel frequently and hold a category B driving licence.
• ABB experience and team management is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop a supplier base for external workbenches and local panel builders, locally and abroad where feasible.
• Execute purchasing activities for the LVS business, optimizing cost, quality and delivery.
• Collect, track and report procurement KPIs and drive improvement actions.
• Coordinate with global sourcing and Bulgarian teams and apply ABB procurement standards.
