Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead .NET Engineer with deep front-end, cloud, and AI expertise to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and services using .NET technologies. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, mentor others, and ensure secure, scalable architectures.

The role requires 7+ years of experience, strong C#/.NET, React/Angular, cloud platforms, and AI proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of professional software development with C# and .NET (ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core).
• Solid front-end experience with React or Angular, including component architecture and responsive design.
• Experience building interfaces that integrate with back-end services and APIs.
• Hands-on cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP; knowledge of cloud-native architectures and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, serverless).
• Experience applying AI technologies to real-world projects; ability to select and implement AI models beyond basic tools.
• Strong AI/ML fundamentals and ability to explain concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases; building RESTful APIs; CI/CD pipelines; Agile, testing, and Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web apps, services, and APIs using .NET tech and modern front-end frameworks.
• Create responsive, high-performing UIs using React or Angular.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and architecture across front-end and back-end layers.
• Oversee deployment, integration, and monitoring on Azure, AWS, or GCP; apply cloud-native principles.
• Implement AI within real-world projects; evaluate AI models and frameworks beyond basic tools.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team technical excellence.
• Support automated CI/CD pipelines for continuous feature delivery.
