Job summary

Kapsch TrafficCom AG is seeking a Junior Security Analyst to support security services across customer projects in intelligent mobility. You will identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks, contribute to vulnerability management, monitoring, and incident response within an international environment.

You will monitor and develop security data analytics, integrate new data sources, operate vulnerability monitoring, and coordinate security testing exercises with Operations to embed state-of-the-art

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge in network security firewalling and computer systems; technical certifications are appreciated.
• Basic knowledge of security technologies like vulnerability scanning, SIEM and IAM.
• Able to work in a team and in complex, demanding environments.
• Occasional travel may occur due to international structure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and develop security data analytics for customer projects.
• Analyze system and network anomalies based on available solutions.
• Integrate new data sources and develop security dashboards.
• Oversee vulnerability monitoring process and remediation decisions.
• Coordinate security testing exercises with stakeholders; participate in incident response phases.
• Collaborate with the global security organization to improve security controls across systems and networks.
