Job summary

State Street's Charles River Development is seeking a Java Software Engineer to enhance and maintain Alpha/CRD modules in a cloud-native, agile environment. The role involves collaborating with analysts and product managers, providing engineering troubleshooting, and contributing to automated testing and code reviews.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of Java development experience in FinTech.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related; MS preferred.
• Experience with Azure cloud native services.
• Knowledge of SQL databases (SQL Server/Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, test, and debug software enhancements in Java and related tech.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to create scalable solutions.
• Lead problem solving for projects to resolve technical issues.
• Write unit and automation tests to ensure quality.
• Participate in SCRUM ceremonies and cross-team coordination.
• Mentor junior engineers on designs and code reviews.
