Job summary

JLL in Warsaw is seeking a GL Accounting Assistant for our JBS business line to perform daily accounting activities, month-end close, and ensure data accuracy in the ledgers within a hybrid work model. You will post journals, book bank statements, prepare GL reconciliations, and cooperate with AP, AR, C2B, IC and T&E, while supporting local finance and audits.

Excellent Excel skills, English and Polish, basic accounting knowledge, and optional PeopleSoft experience are beneficial for success in

Qualifications

• Basic accounting knowledge and willingness to develop in this area.
• Very good working knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookup’s etc.).
• Experience in using PeopleSoft is a strong plus.
• Good level of English and Polish.
• Attention to details and analytical skills.
• Experience in working within SSC/BPO structures is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Executing daily accounting activities and month-end close process.
• Posting journals entry and checking data accuracy.
• Booking of bank statements (manual entries).
• Preparation of monthly GL account reconciliations.
• Cooperating with other departments (AP, AR, C2B, IC, T&E).
• Supporting local finance and providing them with necessary information.
• Providing support for country finance teams in special projects.
• Assistance with the annual audit process.
