Job summary

MKS Instruments in Poznań is seeking a General Ledger Specialist to join the European finance team in a hybrid role (8 days on site per month). You will maintain high accounting standards and collaborate with local and group finance teams across regions.

You will handle month-end closes, GL postings in SAP, support US GAAP reporting, and contribute to process harmonization. The role offers visibility, ownership, and opportunities to take on additional country scope within the EMEA organization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; or completed commercial training with accounting focus.
• At least 4 years of General Ledger accounting experience in an international environment.
• Proficient in MS Office; strong communication in English.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger accounting activities, including calculation, reconciliation, and posting of complex journal entries.
• Support Group Accounting with analyses and issue resolution.
• Contribute to implementation and maintenance of SOX controls and procedures.
• Participate in month-end closing and preparation of annual financial statements.
• Collaborate with local and group auditors.
• Perform accounting postings and financial transactions in SAP.
• Improve processes and harmonize accounting across cluster companies.
