Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of General Ledger experience required.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance (ACCA/SKWP advantages).
• Very good command of English (B2) and German.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP/S4HANA ERP system.
• Advanced Excel skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability to change.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute end-to-end General Ledger processes.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closings.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis.
• Prepare SOX Controls.
• Handle fixed assets accounting processes.
• Prepare VAT declarations in compliance with requirements.
• Maintain accuracy of General Ledger master data.
• Prepare financial reports for statutory and management reporting.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
• Support standardization and optimization of accounting processes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support financial decisions.
• Assist Team Lead and participate in ad-hoc improvements.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day accounting issues.
• Oversee end-to-end GL activities for assigned entities.
• Provide guidance and onboarding for new joiners; share best practices.
