Job summary

Williams Lea seeks an Engineering Team Lead to join our Warsaw team. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with day-to-day team management, guiding a tribe of engineers delivering a portfolio of software products.

You will own sprint delivery, define technical standards, collaborate with Product Owners and Architects, and champion CI/CD, monitoring with Datadog, and secure coding practices to ensure quality and reliability.

Qualifications

Hands-on engineering leadership with a track record of delivering software in a scalable environment.
Proven ability to mentor engineers, manage performance and grow team capability.
Strong governance, security, testing, and quality practices across multiple products.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor and develop a team of engineers within your tribe.
Ensure coding standards, code reviews, testing practices and CI/CD pipelines are followed.
Own sprint-level delivery and partner with Scrum Masters to meet commitments.
Oversee product documentation, runbooks and operational readiness.
Engage with Technical Product Owners, Business Analysts and other stakeholders to translate needs into technical plans.
Drive incident management, root cause analysis and post-incident improvements.
Enforce branching strategies, review SLAs for PRs and promote CI/CD hygiene.
