Job summary

Asana in Warsaw is seeking a Data Scientist to help inform strategy and metrics and drive business outcomes through experiments, ML models, and data storytelling.

You will work with Product and Business teams to understand goals, build pipelines, and keep data flowing. The role is based in Warsaw with a hybrid schedule, office days Mon/Tue/Thu and optional WFH on Wed; Fridays depend on work type.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, math, statistics, engineering or related field.
• 3+ years applying data science to product development and decision-making.
• Strong quantitative background in statistics or math.
• Fluency in Python or Scala.
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
• Experience with Spark or Redshift.
• Experience with ML methods and experimental design.
• Curiosity about AI tools and new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze experiments to measure feature impact.
• Build models to forecast growth of customer segments.
• Develop metrics and add data aggregations to data warehouse.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions.
• Explore high-level questions about product and team collaboration patterns.
