Job summary

Roche is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and own modern data products within a Data Mesh framework. You will work on Snowflake deployments on AWS, leveraging DBT for transformations and maintaining Data Vault architectures.

You will collaborate with Product Owners and Data Architects to ensure data quality, governance, and scalable data solutions enabling faster medical insights and better patient care.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience building data products with Snowflake, DBT, and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of Data Vault, Data Mesh principles, and data governance tools.
• ETL/ELT pipelines, QA, and CI/CD using Git-based workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data products in Snowflake on AWS.
• Release automated data product versions with proper documentation.
• Ensure data quality and observability with SLOs/SLIs and governance policies.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Architects to extract data from key systems.
• Lead best-practices within the data engineering community.
