The role emphasizes leadership, data modeling expertise, and hands-on work with Python, dbt, and the modern data stack. Hybrid work in Warsaw is available, with two in-office days per week.

Qualifications

• Design and implement Data Mesh architectures across complex enterprises.
• Hands-on data modeling with Data Vault 2.0 and dimensional modeling.
• Strong focus on data quality and observability across pipelines.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders and translate requirements into data solutions.
• Lead and mentor a delivery team of data engineers.

Responsibilities

• Architect and drive data mesh designs from source to data product.
• Define, deliver, and govern reusable data products with security and compliance.
• Collaborate with data domain leads and product owners to shape architecture.
• Lead a delivery team, uplifting technical standards and ownership.
• Optimize data pipelines and implement modern data stack practices.
• Oversee end-to-end pipeline buildout and cloud performance.
