Optiveum is seeking an expert-level Data Analyst to join our client in financial services, supporting the GKYC program with data analytics, design, and development. You will collaborate with IT, Compliance, Legal, and business leads to implement changes and deliver high-quality results.

Required skills include advanced SQL, Python, R, Java, Scala, data modeling, and Power BI reporting, plus strong English communication and independent work capability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data management or data quality within financial services.
• Expertise in SQL, Python, R, Java, and Scala.
• Familiarity with data taxonomy and building small data models.
• Experience with Power BI to produce clear, actionable reports.
• Background in financial crime (AML/CTF, KYC, Transaction Monitoring, and Sanctions).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a strong team player.
• Fluency in English (speaking and writing).
