is seeking an experienced Data Analyst (Expert) to join our client—an international financial institution—and contribute to GKYC data analytics and reporting. You will use SQL, Python, R, Java, and Scala, deliver Power BI reports, build data models, and collaborate with IT, Financial Crime, Compliance, Legal, and business leads in a hybrid setup (Gdańsk, Łódź, or Warsaw, with 25% remote).

Salary: Up to 130 PLN/h net + VAT

We are currently looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our client—an international financial institution known for its collaborative, Swedish organizational culture.
In this role, you will support a critical GKYC (Global Know Your Customer) program by delivering high-quality data analytics, design, and development. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong background in financial crime and data management, we want to hear from you!
Support the critical GKYC program by driving data analytics, design, and development.
Work with data taxonomies and build small data models.
Produce clear, actionable reports using Power BI.
Work closely with multiple business areas and key leads across IT, Architecture, Financial Crime, Compliance, Legal, and the Business to implement changes.
Navigate a fast-paced project environment with changing priorities, always striving to find the best solutions for the organization.
Ensure high standards of data accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
Experience: Proven track record in data management, data quality, or a related role (preferably within the financial services industry).
Tech Stack: Experience with advanced SQL, Python, R, Java, and Scala.
Reporting: Hands‑on experience with Power BI.
Domain Knowledge: Solid experience within financial crime domains (AML/CTF, KYC, Transaction Monitoring, and Sanctions).
Stakeholder Management: Excellent ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Mindset: Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, strong attention to detail, and a highly organized, professional approach to work.
Languages: Fluent English (speaking and writing) is mandatory.
Experience with data governance frameworks and methodologies.
Previous involvement in data migration and integration projects.
Rate: Up to 130 PLN/h net + VAT.
Contract: Long-term B2B agreement signed directly with Optiveum.
