Westinghouse Electric Company is hiring a Junior Accountant in Kraków to support payable functions and invoice processing. You will liaise with vendors, work under the Accounts Payable Lead, and operate in a hybrid model with two days in the office.

The role requires a finance-related degree and at least 6 months in a similar role, with English and Swedish at B2/C1 level. Strong accuracy, communication, and MS Office skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Admin or related field.
• At least 6 months of experience in Finance or Administrative role.
• English and Swedish language at B2/C1 level.
• Demonstrate exceptional precision and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Scan and enter invoices and related support into the system.
• Process and match purchase order invoices.
• Monitor and resolve issues within the invoice workflow.
• Resolve escalated invoices requiring further research before posting.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
• Evaluate opportunities to improve invoice processing efficiency.
• Maintain accounts payable policies and internal controls.
• Process non-purchase order invoices per policy.
• Monitor and follow-up on invoices blocked for payment and release them when needed.
