Job summary

UBS is seeking an HR Operations Intern for Italy, working within the HR Service Delivery EMEA SMCs team in Krakow/Wroclaw. You will handle lifecycle events, manage absences, process and archive HR documents, and assist employees with inquiries.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, discretion with sensitive documents, and strong communication in English and Italian, with Spanish as a plus. This is a full-time position with UBS’s global HR services.

Qualifications

• Experience in Human Resources or Shared Services is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with varied daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Handling basic life-cycle events (i.e. OU changes, FTE changes)
• Managing employee absences and related documentation
• Processing and archiving HR documents
• Resolving basic employees inquiries
• Handling sensitive documents with discretion and professionalism

Skills

Fluent in Italian

Proficient in English

Good knowledge of Spanish

Prior HR/Shared Services experience

Strong organizational skills
