Job Description
We are a team augmentation company dedicated to connecting exceptional remote talent with global organizations. We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive HR Manager to join our dynamic team remotely. This role is ideal for an HR professional who has worked with Australian companies or clients, particularly in a distributed or remote work environment. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR processes including talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance with Australian employment law, and performance management for our augmented teams and internal staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage recruitment cycles, from sourcing through onboarding, across legal, operational, and tech verticals.
- Provide expert HR guidance and support on policies, procedures, and employment legislation relevant to Australian jurisdictions.
- Develop and maintain HR frameworks including performance management, employee relations, and training initiatives.
- Oversee contractor agreements, workplace compliance, and HR documentation for Australian-based and international team members.
- Drive culture, engagement, and retention efforts in a fully remote and multicultural environment.
- Support leadership in workforce planning, succession planning, and internal hiring strategies.
- Use HRIS systems and tools to maintain employee records and generate reports as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (HR certifications such as AHRI or CIPD are a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, preferably within Australian companies or consulting with Australian clients.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and modern awards.
- Experience managing HR in remote or hybrid teams, with exposure to international workforces a bonus.
- Proven ability to lead recruitment, resolve HR issues, and implement people strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
