Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Associate to support a fast-paced Australian company. This role will focus on administrative and compliance support, policy management, and SOP creation, with a preference for candidates who have a background in law or compliance. The ideal candidate will have a methodical approach, excellent written communication skills, and the ability to work independently while ensuring legal and procedural accuracy in all documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the creation, review, and implementation of internal compliance documentation, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure all internal processes comply with Australian legal and regulatory frameworks, particularly in employment law and operational compliance.
  • Perform general administrative compliance tasks and maintain document control for regulatory records.
  • Help track and manage onboarding, contracts, and employee data through platforms such as Employment Hero.
  • Support internal audits and identify compliance risks across operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve compliance protocols and documentation workflows.
  • Stay current with updates in Australian compliance and employment standards and provide internal summaries or suggestions.
Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in compliance, legal operations, or administrative roles.
