Job summary

Wella Company in Warsaw is seeking an enthusiastic HR Intern to gain hands-on experience within our international People Team during a six-month internship. The role provides practical exposure to HR operations, documentation, onboarding, and immigration coordination in a hybrid setup.

You will work closely with the Senior People Business Partner, supporting day-to-day tasks, managing documentation, assisting onboarding, and coordinating with IT and hiring managers on onboarding activities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the HR team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Manage HR documentation and archiving.
  • Support onboarding and new joiner communications.
  • Coordinate with managers and IT on onboarding activities.
  • Assist with medical referrals and holiday approvals.
  • Contribute to improving HR processes and tasks.

About The Role

Are you looking for an internship where you can do more than observe from the sidelines?

We are looking for a proactive and curious HR Intern who enjoys taking initiative, learning by doing and getting involved wherever support is needed. Over the course of this six-month internship, you’ll gain hands-on HR experience and become a trusted member of our team.

This role would be a great fit for someone who enjoys asking questions, sharing ideas and looking for ways to support the team.

What You Will Do
  • Support the HR team with a variety of day-to-day administrative and operational activities.
  • Manage HR documentation, including printing, scanning, mailing and archiving.
  • Help prepare and monitor medical check-up referrals.
  • Support the onboarding of new employees by:
    • staying in touch with new joiners;
    • sending onboarding communications;
    • collecting and checking required documents;
    • coordinating activities with hiring managers and the IT team.
  • Follow up with managers on pending holiday approvals and other HR-related actions.
  • Coordinate with external partners on employee immigration and relocation matters.
  • Support employees returning from extended absences by coordinating communication, emails and onboarding sessions.
  • Help us organise tasks and improve the efficiency of everyday HR administration.
  • Look for opportunities to contribute beyond your regular responsibilities, whether by offering support, suggesting an improvement or getting involved in an additional project.

  • Good command of both Polish and English.
  • High availability, ideally close to full-time , and flexibility to support the team across the working week.
  • A proactive “I can help” attitude and willingness to take initiative.
  • Curiosity, eagerness to learn and a hands‑on approach.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Microsoft Office skills and an interest in HR.

How We Work

We work in a hybrid model, with a minimum of two days per week in our Warsaw office. Thursdays are our shared office day, when the team comes together to collaborate and catch up.
