Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR management, business administration or related field with 2+ years HR generalist experience.
  • Associate's degree plus 4 years relevant experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard new hires promptly and ensure positive new employee experience and proper documentation.
  • Coordinate employee exit processes including interviews and documentation.
  • Prepare HR reports, presentations, and spreadsheets for HR programs and business needs.
  • Ensure HR processes comply with policies and applicable laws.
  • Provide day-to-day employee relations support and investigations as needed.
  • Support recruitment and hiring activities with requisitions and timelines.
  • Assist HR/payroll system inquiries and projects.

What You Can Expect

The HR Generalist provides HR support across a broad range of human resources activities, helping ensure a consistent, efficient, and positive employee experience. This role serves as a key resource for employees, leaders, and HR partners by coordinating and executing core HR processes, maintaining accurate employee information, and supporting a variety of HR initiatives.

How You'll Create Impact
  • Manage onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring a timely, organized, and positive new employee experience and completion of required processes and documentation.
  • Coordinate employee exit processes, including exit interviews, documentation, and communication with appropriate HR and business partners
  • Prepare HR reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and other materials to support HR programs and business needs.
  • Ensure HR processes are executed consistently and in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide day-to-day support on employee relations matters, including responding to routine employee and manager concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and processes, documenting issues as appropriate, completing investigative interviews and/or investigations, and escalating more complex matters to the appropriate HR Business Partner or HR leader
  • Support recruitment and hiring activities, including creating and maintaining job requisitions, coordinating with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers, and ensuring timely completion of required hiring processes and documentation.
  • Support HR and payroll system inquiries, projects, and requests
  • Coordinate and execute centralized HR processes and activities to support employees and leaders across the organization.
  • Maintain accurate and timely employee and HR information in HR systems and other applicable databases and tracking tools.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve the employee experience, and increase efficiency across centralized HR activities.
  • Partner effectively with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Payroll, HR Operations, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain appropriate confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee and compensation information.
  • Support HR initiatives, projects, audits, and process improvements as assigned.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 years of relevant experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration or related field plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience in HR generalist or HR specialist role is preferred
  • Experience with interviewing (recruitment and/or employee relations) preferred
  • Experience in employee relations, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, EEO, and other general employment laws preferred. PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus.
Travel Expectations
  • Up to 10%
