Job summary

Helprise is seeking an experienced HR Director to own HR across a diverse organization in an international setting. The role blends strategic leadership with day-to-day people management, HR administration, and payroll coordination.

It offers a hybrid model with options to work from Poznań, Szczecin, or Wrocław, plus regular travel to Poznań. You will lead HR activities, manage the full lifecycle, and ensure compliance while collaborating with international teams, including German-speaking

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior HR role with broad responsibility.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Polish labour law and personnel administration.
• Experience overseeing payroll processes and working with payroll specialists.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in German; English is a significant advantage.
• Willingness to travel regularly to Poznań.

• Manage the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
• Oversee HR administration and personnel documentation with the HR and payroll team.
• Coordinate payroll processes with the accountant for timely monthly payrolls.
• Advise managers on HR matters, performance, and employment law.
• Ensure compliance with Polish labour law and internal policies.
• Drive HR initiatives on engagement, development, and organizational effectiveness.
• Partner with management and international stakeholders including German-speaking colleagues.

We are looking for an experienced HR Director to take full ownership of HR across a diverse, operationally driven organization within an international business environment. This role combines strategic HR leadership with hands-on responsibility for day-to-day people management, HR administration, and payroll coordination. The position offers a hybrid working model, with the possibility to work from Poznań, Szczecin, or Wrocław, and regular business travel to Poznań.

YOU WILL

• Lead and oversee all HR activities, ensuring effective people management and alignment with business objectives.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding and development to employee relations and offboarding.
• Oversee HR administration and personnel documentation in close cooperation with the HR and payroll administration team.
• Coordinate payroll processes in collaboration with the accountant, ensuring accurate employee data, timely inputs, and smooth monthly payroll operations.
• Advise managers on HR matters, employee relations, performance management and employment legislation.
• Ensure compliance with Polish labour law and internal HR policies and procedures.
• Drive HR initiatives related to employee engagement, talent development, organizational effectiveness, and performance.
• Act as a trusted HR partner to the management team and collaborate with international stakeholders, including German-speaking colleagues.

YOU NEED

• Proven experience in a senior HR role, ideally as an HR Director, HR Manager, or HR Business Partner with broad HR responsibility.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HR processes, Polish labour law, and personnel administration.
• Experience overseeing payroll processes and working closely with accounting or payroll specialists.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both management and operational teams.
• Fluency in German to communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
• Good command of English would be a significant advantage.
• A proactive, hands-on approach, strong organizational skills, and the ability to balance strategic priorities with operational responsibilities.
• Willingness to travel regularly to Poznań.
