Job summary

Avanquest in Kraków seeks an HR Business Partner to be the People & Culture presence at our Poland tech hub. You will report to the Senior Director, People and Culture, based in Canada, and collaborate with HR professionals across offices to implement global practices locally.

You will drive people strategy, coach managers, lead performance reviews including salary and bonus, ensure Polish employment law compliance, and foster a human-centered, diverse, and dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• Solid experience (5 to 7 years) as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist.
• Thorough understanding of Polish labour law and local HR practices.
• Fluent in English and Polish.

Responsibilities

• Be the go to People & Culture partner for leaders and employees across our Poland team.
• Translate global talent strategy into local action for the Polish office.
• Collaborate with People & Culture colleagues across Canada, France, and Germany.
• Act as culture ambassador to nurture a positive, thriving work environment.
• Bring a human-centered approach to change and support transitions.
• Partner with managers on day-to-day coaching and people matters in Kraków.
• Own the full performance cycle locally, including salary and bonus reviews.
• Work with Talent Acquisition to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
• Keep local HR practices compliant with Polish labour law and internal policy.
• Let data inform decisions and identify focus areas.
