ZF Group Czestochowa seeks an HPC Senior Test Engineer to advance testing of embedded ADAS/AD HPC ECUs. You will design, implement and execute automated Python-based tests and develop HIL test benches to validate systems.

We value a technical degree and 3 years of relevant experience, strong UNIX/Bash skills, and familiarity with CAN, Ethernet, LIN, PCIe, SPI and I2C. The role offers a hybrid work model and a comprehensive benefits package.

About the Team

This position is part of ZF’s ADAS & HPC business, which is entering an exciting new phase of growth and transformation within the advanced automotive technology space. The business unit is planned for divestiture, creating a unique opportunity to help shape the future of next-generation driver assistance and high-performance computing technologies.

In this role, you will be responsible for testing advanced ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and AD (Autonomous Driving) active safety systems in vehicles. Your main tasks will include automating test processes using Python and advanced HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing systems.

What you can look forward to as an HPC Senior Test Engineer (Python) [f/m/d]:

• Implement and execute tests for embedded ADAS/AD HPC ECUs.
• Design and develop HIL test benches for HPC ECUs.
• Provide test design and test specification of advanced multi domain HPC systems.
• Develop automated test scripts in Python.
• Report test status and prepare the required documentation.
• Analyze system requirements and defects identified during the testing process.
• Test planning.

Your profile as an HPC Senior Test Engineer (Python) [f/m/d]:

• University degree in a technical field, preferably Electronics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or Automation.
• Programming skills, with Python as the preferred language.
• 3 years of professional experience in a similar area required.
• Good knowledge of UNIX environments and Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with automotive buses and protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, and LIN, as well as embedded interfaces including PCIe, SPI, and I2C.
• Understanding of Automotive HPC and SDV (Software-Defined Vehicle) hardware and software architecture.
• Basic knowledge of electronics and laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, soldering).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including English proficiency.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a dynamic working environment.
