Job summary

HSBC Service Delivery (Polska) Sp. z o.o. in Kraków seeks a Payments Operations professional to process and control domestic and international payments end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.

You will monitor payments, perform controls, and support process improvements within a dynamic team. The role requires experience in payments operations and strong attention to detail. Fluency in English (B2) is required, Hebrew (B1) is a plus, with shifts based on the business

Qualifications

• Experience in payments operations, banking operations, or comparable processing and controls environment.
• Strong attention to detail with disciplined risk and controls mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-volume, time-sensitive settings.
• Clear communication, team-oriented, and capable of learning new systems quickly.
• English level at least B2; Hebrew at B1 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in change activities and perform PVT impacting payment processes.
• Process, monitor, and validate payment instructions across channels.
• Complete daily controls, reconciliations, and exception handling to minimise risk.
• Investigate and resolve payment queries, returns, rejects, recalls, and amendments within SLAs.
• Maintain case notes and documentation to support auditability and governance.
• Identify root causes of issues and support improvements/automation.
• Support incident management and contribute to resilience.
