Job summary

Çalık Enerji in Poland seeks an experienced HSE Supervisor for the Kozienice 1300 MW CCGT project. You will ensure compliance with Polish health and safety regulations and lead full-time HSE supervision across construction areas.

Responsibilities include inspections, risk assessments, PTW coordination, and coordinating with subcontractors to promote a positive safety culture on site. Fluent Polish and good English are required, along with a Bachelor’s degree and 4–5 years of HSE experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Min. 4-5 years of HSE/BHP experience, preferably in construction or industrial projects.
• Fluent Polish and good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Polish occupational health and safety regulations and project HSE requirements.
• Provide full-time HSE supervision across construction areas per Project HSE Plan, BIOZ Plan and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections, identify hazards, monitor high-risk activities (excavations, lifting, work at height, scaffolding, electrical works, hot works, confined spaces).
• Support risk assessments, review procedures and safety instructions.
• Verify permits, risk assessments, and PPE requirements; support PTW system implementation and monitoring.
• Provide HSE guidance to employees, coordinate with subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Report investigations of accidents, incidents, near misses and environmental events.
• Maintain HSE documentation and contribute to KPI tracking.

We are looking for a “HSE Supervisor” for our Çalık Enerji / Enea Kozienice 1300 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant Project;

Work Location: Kozienice, Poland

Work Type: Full-Time/Project Site

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure compliance with Polish occupational health and safety regulations and project HSE requirements.


• Provide full-time HSE supervision across assigned construction areas in accordance with the Project HSE Plan, BIOZ Plan and applicable project procedures.


• Conduct regular workplace and daily field inspections and task observations, identify hazards and unsafe conditions, and monitor high-risk construction activities, including excavations, piling, lifting operations, work at height, scaffolding, temporary works, electrical works, hot works, confined spaces, traffic interfaces and simultaneous operations (SIMOPS).


• Support occupational risk assessments and review work procedures, Method Statements, safety instructions and other relevant HSE documentation.


• Verify compliance with permits, approved work procedures, risk assessments, PPE requirements and other necessary safety controls.


• Support the implementation and monitoring of the Permit to Work (PTW) system.


• Provide practical HSE guidance to employees, construction supervisors and management and coordinate with subcontractors and work crews to resolve day-to-day HSE issues.


• Monitor HSE findings, non-conformities and corrective actions and ensure their effective follow-up and close-out.


• Report and support investigations of accidents, incidents, near misses, dangerous occurrences and environmental events.


• Maintain relevant HSE/BHP documentation, inspection and activity records, and contribute to HSE reports and KPI tracking.


• Participate in toolbox talks, pre-task meetings, HSE coordination meetings, training, inspections, audits and safety awareness activities.


• Support Client, EPC and internal HSE inspections and audits.


• Promote a positive safety culture through active field presence, coaching and effective communication.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Min. Bachelor's degree,


• Min. 4-5 years of of HSE/BHP experience, preferably in construction or industrial projects,


• Good knowledge of Polish BHP regulations and HSE principles,


• Knowledge of risk assessments, Method Statements/IBWR, BIOZ Plans,


• MS Office skills, good knowledge of Excel,


• Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving and organizational skills with a proactive approach to safety,


• High attention to detail and problem solving,


• Fluent Polish and good command of English
